St. Austell Brewery

The St Austell Brewery Company is one of the oldest businesses in Cornwall, founded in 1851 by Walter Hicks, who wanted to set up his business in St Austell. Many years later they are still going strong and in 2001, they celebrated their 150th anniversary.

St Austell Brewery are proud of their beers and their take great care to ensure every bottle has the best flavour, aroma and experience. Bottled beers are brewed in St Austell using locally grown malt and our own unique water supply along with the finest hops and yeast. It’s something you really need to try.St Austell Brewery has been nationally and internationally recognised for the quality of its beers, picking up many awards every year, recently their Tribute ale came 2nd in the 2011 Brewing Industry International Awards.
